New York, New York!!

I went to New York in Feb. to take what might have been my last audition (who knows?!), and I realized that, as nice as the idea of being able to live in such a lively city such as New York sounds, I don't know if that's what I really want after all! Anyways, I didn't even advance to the second round, so that's that. The best part of this trip was that I got to go to two great museums, MoMA and Metropolitan. What an amazing collection they have there! I'll definitely go back!













Discovery: Taiwanese Islander's crafts and Rodin!

So the quartet (Buffalo Chamber Players, or Huntington quartet) went down to St. Simon's Island, Georgia, in January this year for two concerts. It was quite a success, in many ways :) and we enjoyed the trip tremendously! It's such a joy to play chamber music; needless to say, we put in quite some efforts into preparing for the two recitals we gave there, but at the end it was all worth it.

Seemed like it was only yesterday.....

Well, it IS only yesterday, or at least it looks like... it's been a year since I posted! I can't think of a better day to put up a post, even if this is gonna be the last one... which pictures then? I shall begin with..... MY BIRTHDAY! ME ME ME!

We saw this sign outside of Chinatown in Chicago, and just had to stop and take a picture. I guess someone is keeping track of all sorts of things.

Cruise

I went on a cruise a few month ago.... you basically eat, stay under the sun, eat more, nap, eat, eat and then eat. We did get off the ship twice, once in Grand Cayman and then in Ocho Rio, Jamaica. I love this color of the sea; this was where we "swam" with the stingrays.

Baby Talk

Lucas is only a few weeks old and he's already speaking a few words!! Just for my birthday, of course.
